Some weight reduction
Hey Guys,
While the truck is tore down awaiting the arrival of the PerformaBuilt lvl 2 4L60E, I decided to change a few other things up as well. Extra parts: http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...0528001439.jpg Fuel cell: http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...0528001038.jpg I even adapted the trucks original fuel level sending unit to work inside the cell. Waiting for a transmission, and than to rebuild the dual exhaust. This time without running the drivers bank over to the passenger side. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...0527001354.jpg I'll also be cleaning up & cutting off extra brackets and pieces not in use under the frame. Cheers ~Mykk |

Mighty Demon 825cfm double pumper Super Victor copy single plane intake Patriot 'Vortec' iron heads, 185cc Int runners, 63cc chambers 2.02"/1.6" valves Comp XR276HR-10 cam, magnum 1.52 rockers, 26918 beehive springs .040" over 350ci, H345NCP flat top pistons, ZZ4 rotating assembly, balanced 10.7:1 static compression, 8.6:1 dynamic |
The cell is mounted, I've got a question however. The sump has two -8 fittings, obviously one will be used for the fuel feed to the pump. Can I use the other for the fuel pressure regulator return?

Very nice, keep us updated, i plan on puttin a fuel cell in real soon as well. What gallon fuel cell is that?
|
It's a 20gal cell, wich looks funny to me because it's a 1/3rd the size of the trucks original 26 gal tank.
|
Lol thats true cuz i wouldnt have figured it was a 20gal

So you have an older vortec 350 in an 2004? Why did you do that instead of the ls engine?
