mine really didn't change between a 2800 to a 3600. if you do alot of highway it wont matter cuz you'll be locked up.

Yes, your fuel economy will be affected, especially since you'll be up over 3.5k every time you give a decent amount of throttle. With good tuning and decent driving habits you can keep your fuel economy somewhat liveable, but the bigger you go on the cam, the bigger you go on the converter, the more your fuel economy plummets...that's the name of the game

Being locked up on the highway will definitely be helpful...once again, the tune must be spot on...

ight a i got a tranny cooler coming my way but how long can someone expect a stock tranny to last its got 84000 miles on it and i kno they like to get burnt up so i was just curious, im getting the jeff to tune it at thunder heard he is the man for dds so will see

The tranny's are hit or miss...mine puked at 59.6K with a much milder set up than yours, and the factory converter, but no TM...

Nah, you're right, I have them (2 14" magnaflows and a magnaflow x-pipe), but that project's a long ways a way...gotta get the trans fixed and get er runnin' first
