Default So MagnaFlow it shal be

Well now that i have decided to go with Magnaflow, what type of set up should i run, one into the muffler, and two out or one one out?

Also what is the difference between all of the different ones?

What are you guys running.

TIA

You won't regret it. I am running a big 22" long single 3".

I'll tell you that a 5x11x22 is a QUIET muffler. The smaller the case, the louder the sound.

Make tailpipes how ya like them. I prefer a hidden pipe tipped by the bumper...like Cadillacs, Lincolns, etc. The ol' 3" chromies on 2" tailpipes are gross to me.

EDIT...I posted like the same time Shark did. I have that 5x11x22 on my F150...not tryin' to be anti the large cased ones.

I'm running their single 3" cat back with the 4" tip....I think it works good, its not too loud, and it looks Diesel! Just make sure you get it lined up before tightening up the U-bolts for the muffler and make sure you have at least a 1/2 inch clearance between the tailpipe and the body of the truck...mine was too close at first and it was resonating and much louder until I loosened it up and repositioned it. Nice choice, you'll be happy.

I'm running the 5x8x14 with single 3" in and dual 2.5" out dumped and i get lots of compliments on the sound.

I had the 5x11x22 on my 2001 silverado and it was too quiet.
