Did you retain your factory fuel pump wires, or run another set(HOT) off a relay??

Thanks John

hmmmm, I am not a 100% but I don't think fuel cells are DOT approved, I believe the really expensive one are.... So with that said, if a state inspector had any kinda clue, I think you would fail state inspection.....

I don't think I am going to sell the truck, it will have a cover over the bed, so I will take that chance. Here in md, only time a inspection is needed is for a sale of the vehicle.. I will def check into that, thanks for bringing that up...

HOWEVER...every 2 yrs you need to do an emissions test. They will 9999 out of 10000 times just plug into your computer. The other one time they will run you on a dyno. But your risk is if you get a trainee that is being trained by a state certified instructor (versuses another employee)...you will get caught. I was in line and they tore this ricer truck up that was next to me.

A loud exhaust, choppy idle will do you no favors in an experienced tech's line.

Other than that....you are good to go.

Inspections? Emissions tests? Whats that?

I'd run a single big tank for pump gas and install a small race cell later on. Dirt_tracks idea for a return setup sounds awesome.
