So did we decide that removing the overload springs would help the launch?

First off, I tow nothing and there is never anything in the back of the truck. So, did we ever decided that removing the overloads would help my truck get some better suspension action at launch? It seems like it would help it dip better without them, seeing how they help to keep it stiff, but I may be way off base here. Just looking for any way to get better launches and times.

I would think that it wouldn't help because it would get more axle wrap. That could be fixed with a set of cal-tracs though

I think I'm going to take them off for a weekend and see how it acts. If it does dip better, but I get axle wrap, I'll get me a set of Caltracs coming this way.

I tried already and got a bunch of wheel hop. So I put the load spring back in and took the middle one out. The main reason I done this was to lower my truck. The ride can be harsh at times, and i think it might help a little at the track.

why not get a panhard bar, instead of going all out for cal-tracs?.. not that cal-tracs arent a good way to go though.

Doesnt that connect the diff pumpkin to to suspension so it doesnt move sideways? I dunno, just checking. How would that help wheel hop?
