I agree with that since I am seeing 500+ rwhp on my 5.3 with no issues, running 12 psi on a stock bottom. My 2004 needed 60# injectors to get there though. The GM 8.1L Marine injectors were showing 120% duty cycles prior to the head and cam install, so I went to the 60# while I was down. Mine is a "returnless" fuel system. I can't remember if the 2003 has a vacuum referenced fuel regulator though....

The Fast intake would be the ticket with the forged bottom. Never know when that turbo may need a little help from the juice. That intake is already set up for it....

Well, got my baby home today... Time to start the taking it apart...

I will be going with a 404cid bottom end with Livernois Motor Sport Stage-3 heads and their Custom Cam...
