SLP Rockers not compatible with 6.0????
#1
A few months ago I purchased some slp 1.85 rockers from tbyrne for my 01 C3 with a 6.0 engine.
With on the slp site this weekend I noticed the very part # I recieved says they are not compatible with the 6.0 engines, so I called slp this morning and they can't tell me exactly why they are not, but he did say they were not to be used on the 6.0.
A call to tbyrne got me a gal that could'nt tell me anything, other than she would check on it. I explicitly spec'd a 6.0 engine (and the note from slp was not on their site when I bought them).
Anyone else have any ideas on why they won't work (or should I say should'nt be used) since I've been running them now for a few weeks and have a thousand miles on the truck now.
A call to my engine builder, and he tells me everything geometry wise looked good, and the only thing he could think of is if they are popping the ends off the pushrods??????
