Hey whats up ya'll, well all of a sudden my brother wants to change his exhaust on his 05 RCSB silvy 5.3 his current setup is 2.50" magnaflow X pipe in to 2 bassani mufflers dumped. he wants to get 2 of these http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...67&BIG=31067-1 or 2 of these http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=509 which one of those would sound best?
damn bassani's sound like flowmaster LOL and im not joking.

 

i dono but i would look into thows "spiral flow" mufflers they sound good but then again i herd them on a f-body w\ LT and ORY dono how different they would sound.. try going to www.ls1sounds.com

 

Drove a 98Z28 w/SLPs-just loud and droney the whole powerband. Didn't sound like a mean car. Have Thorley tri-ys and flowmaster 40 w/3" cat-back all the way dual cats single exit. Would do Magnaflows if I had money to burn just to compare.

 

i've used one slp loudmouth resonator before on a 4.8 truck and it sounded great! I just bought one for my '05 5.3, I'll let ya know how it sounds once I get it installed.

 

Did you use the loudmouth "shotgun resonator" or "Loudmouth 2"? i have 2 SLP shotgun resonators and i have a 4.8

 

couldnt tell you. the one I have now is supposed to be off the recently designed loudmouth for GT mustangs.
