Default Slicks and DR

Ok, I just got a free spare tire rim, so I am thinking about some slicks or DR. What size are the spare rims? What DR or slicks can I out on these rims? I have 29" 16 for the winter and 28" 18 for the summer. Would a 26" tire hurt me? What are you all running?

I wouldn't put them on the spare rim .. they are narrow. If you can get a pair of the alluminum factory wheels you can use them.

I just picked up a pair of 27x10.5x16 ET Streets. I'll let ya know how they run after the weekend.

The 27's were a little cheaper than the 26's. That's why I went with them. They should be the equivelant of running 3.90's in the rear with the street tires on.

The slicks are only about 20 bucks a tire more than the DR's. I say go ahead and get the slicks while your at it .. that why you won't have to wonder if your traction would be any better with the better tires.

M/T ET Streets.

Summit doesn't carry any 16" rim tires, but Jegs does. I ordered mine through the tire store.

Hey, do you guys think some 28x11.50x16 MT ET Streets would hold if i spray the 225 off the line? Right now i have to wait till i get up to @ 50mph and it still spins really bad. I know i could run faster if i just run a smaller shot, but thats no fun.
