Talking Single Turbo ***PICS***

Did that title get your attention??

I just recieved a couple pictures of a single turbo kit on a SS Silverado and here they are. I'll email this thread to the maker of the kit and let them talk about it some. I'm not sure this actual kit will see production but, another kit is fabbed up that has a better chance of coming out. This is not the CMS kit either. It looks like guys wanting turbos will have more than one kit to choose from before too long.

The pictures are HUGE.

That kit has a air-air intercooler up front someplace.

The tank is just the water overflow tank AFAIK. Maybe they made it outta aluminum just in case the stock plastic one decided to melt or something.

I can't remember the gains with it but, they were nice. LOTS of torque

That's all the pics I have and I am pretty sure that is the PTE 76mm with the Q trim wheel. It's a bad *****.

Hopefully the maker will chime in tonight or tomorrow.

That was pretty sweet looking. A really clean install. MAJOR props to the maker of that. All that piping looks confusing and congested to say the least though.

What's the resevoir for? WHat are the lines running into the turbo itself?

The lines into the turbo are probably oil lines.

I'll answer these the best I can for now until the guy chimes in.

The resevoir is just the coolant overflow tank made outta aluminum(maybe because of turbo heat issues??)

The line running in the top of the turbo is the oil feed line. The line out the bottom is just the oil drainback line.
