Question Single or Dual Exhaust????

I have the stock pipe and put a single borla. So far, to me it feels alright. But a lot of friends tell me that my truck would perform better with dual exhaust. And others say that single is better for back pressure. Any of you guys can help me out here? I just don't want to spend some money on something that won't make much of a diffrence, or I will if it does!!

i dont think you'll see a big difference, what size borla do you have??? inlet/outlet size??? if I was you I'll just put on a 3" cutout before your muffler,....

I have the 1 In and 1 Out. I didn't put any tail pipe or cut out, it just ends with the Borla outlet. It's the Pro-XS series, it has the inlet on a side and the outlet throught the middle. It's almost straight though with just a little curve inside. You can see through to the other end.

If you have a 3" single, I would just leave the way it is. I would get a dual if I were to go with bigger cubes or FI.

No, I don't have cats. It sounds pretty much like a Camaro. You know that Gurggling sound that camaros make with the exhaust tips!!!

Keep it like it is. You will gain nothing by going to dual exhaust. You may even lose a little low end grunt by going dual.
