Raceweight on my Z71 Ext Cab is 4750lbs with 1/8th tank of gas, no spare (55lbs), no jack, no tailgate (45lbs) but add 45lbs or so worth of stereo stuff minus the subwoofers (they weigh 90lbs). If I remove the rear seat (65lbs)I would be at 4685lbs.

That is without me in it.

So my guess is bone stock I would have been at 4900-4950lbs

Chevy's website says the difference is 400 lbs.

i think it depends on accessories that are installed. my truck is fully loaded with power everything. plus 20's which weigh in at 74# each. and stereo

I think youre about right on the weight.The real differance is .5 et,but I don't bump my head on the rear glass.

i have always gone off the chevy web site, 400lb's. seems like that back seat is about 50lb's so it could be as little as 350lb's if you take out your seat.

if i needed an ext cab i would buy one, making up for that 350lb's is prety easy and beating someone in a bigger truck is all the better. i just didn't need one so i didn't get one this time.

Well keep your headrest up,as hard as you launch your helmet could break the back glass.

I wonder what my ecrb weighs... Perhaps somebody should make some composite body panels up front, like hood and front fenders. That'd knock off a good 50lbs.
