Do yall think this is a good pair of HID's or do yall think its just a crappy ebay brand?

i would say the hid's are the el-cheapo's. but ive never seen the small ballasts like that. plus, 44 bucks shipped to your door, you dont really have much to loose. hell at that price, order two sets, one for backup....

I have had projector style headlamps on my truck. They sucked. Couldn't see more than 15 feet in front of the truck in the dark.

I guess if you only drive in the city when it's dark, you might be okay.

for good HID's go to VVME.com, ive ordered a over 10 sets and none of them had problems, they cost aslight bit more than that but are worth it, i think around 49.99 plus shipping for standard, they have 55w, digital ballast, standards and 24v ones

I've got 8K HID's in a similar Halo Projector lens.

The Lenses were not designed to be used with HID's, the use an H1 bulb. I needed to drill out the hole in the base to fit the big glass of the HID's bulb. But once that was done they work great.

I'm also using the slimline ballast HID's, these are the only set I've had last... I've gone through 2 other pairs of the bigger ballast.

The horizon/cutoff is pretty drastic, I needed to aim mine a bit high just to see, because everything above the horizon is still in pitch black.

Under the cutoff

At the carshows, after dark, I usually just turn on the Halo's and for some reason of everything I've done to this truck the halos get the most looks. haha
