Default side exit V. dumps

I'm debating how i want the exhaust system to exit on my truck. I plan on Pacesetter Lt's, custome catted Y, and most likely a magna flow muffler. the part I can't decide on is how to have it exit. I had dumps before the axle on my true dual'd LS1 and there was some interior resonance I wasn't too fond of. It wasn't bad, but seemed to be in my typical cruising range ~70. Anyway, does anyone have experience with a side exit set up before the rear tire? How was the sound? Resonance problems? any problems with exhaust residue on the wheels? Any pictures of your set up or your tips?
thanks

you can dump it after the axle and much of your resonance will be gone...

and the side exit looks good, i thought about doing it, but idk how it would be for cab noise.

I love how it sounds, very angry sounding at low rpms, and virtually no cruising drone. Dunno if it's my muffler or the placement, but i'm very happy with how it turned out.

I am using a dual 2.5" system including cats and a dual in/out muffler into dual 4' tips b4 the pass. side rear tire.
Zero resonance and excellent sound.
I wouldnt dump it under the truck at all, I think that would be asking for resonance as the exhaust pulses will bonce offg th eground back up into thetruck underside, at least it did in my truck.

I lik eteh way that the side exist exhausts are shorter than the full length exhausts, less tube=less restriction.

I've heard not to do the side exit if you have polished wheels because they stay dirty from the exhaust blowing on them all the time. Not really sure if this is true or not but does make sense.

I had mine exiting in front of the tire, but after I gutted the cats it was too raspy. (Also I have a 4x9x11 Magnaflow so Im sure that doesnt help) Now I put a bullet in front of the Magnaflow and dumped it behind the tire. Its a lot better in the cab. I would imagine with a decent size muffler you wouldnt have the problems I ran into though.
