i haven't purchased anything through ARH. i called them to see if they would be willing to match their retailer's advertised prices and they wouldn't. everything has been done through Colorado speed. they are awesome just like they have been for the last 8 years or so that I've known about them.

i'm off to summit to buy even more parts to make their headers work. they put the 02 sensor bungs on the inside of the collector where an 02 sensor will not fit.
The Phil I know there is the shop foreman. If that's the guy you talked to, he's a great guy, but not the right person to help you with anything in regards to purchasing.

I spoke to a guy up front too. I cannot remember his name. I mentioned using machined flanges as a shim and he offered me the great deal of about $130 for two flanges that came to me looking like they were from the scrap bin. the bolt holes dont even line up with each other. the answer from ARH was to send it all back. i'm tired of sending headers back and forth to everyone...I want to drive my car

I've gone from a $400 set to $800 and now 1,200....the TSP $400 headers have fit best so far...go figure LOL. wish TSP made one with a 2" primary.

easier for who? I don't have the tools LOL. still no flanges.

flanges dropped 10/14 with roughly 5 day expectation

10-19
"still workingon trying to hold it"
11/7
"dennis is making a plate to bolt it to and countersink. this week"
11/10
"today or tomorrow"
11/11
making plate for bolt down, i'll keep ya posted"
11/14
"today or tomorrow"

it's officially been 1 month since I dropped the flanges. should I pick them up and take the elsewhere? I didn't expect the 5 day quote to work out (just my experience with machine shops in the past)....but i'm missing out on the good wrenching and cruising weather. today or tomorrow seems to be the go to answer. I have a another shop that quoted 2 weeks to make entirely new flanges at the cut I need for $350. by the time I get these flanges back i'll have that much into them.

Feeling like a sucker right about now. I went to the shop and told him i was there to pick up flanges. He showed me their plan to cut them and i said i came to pick them up whether they were done or not...he convinced me to give him a call in 2 hrs and they should be done. im hoping he comes through but i doubt it. Im picking them up tomorrow afternoon no matter what.

The carrot he is dangling in frt of my face gets me every time haha.
