speaking of compression for the sake of power, I wonder what the ideal compression ratio would be for 8-10lbs of boost.

I think there is a compression ratio calculator per Octane ratings. I remember seeing it, but can't remember where.

Are you gonna do a Cam like NakedAV's too?

already have the Cam its not like Naked's though

since the roots style chargers have a typical 50% efficientcy rate, versus a turbos 70+, I would say you should shoot for 9:1 CR for chamber and octane saftey. What happens is because your 50% ratio, you will cause more hot air in the chamber versus more cold air. So that plays a big factor. So what ever you can do to keep chamber heat down, do it. Much more power to be made with denser air.
