Default shifting gears

how many of yall chirp the tires shifting from first to second? I'm just getting an idea of what kind of shift pressures/times yall are getting too. I finally figured out why my quarter times sucked so bad last night, in my stock tune file the PE enrichment rate was .0195, really freakin low, no wonder my 60' blew *** and also first gear I never entered PE and only got like 12* timing max while in first.

ne ways, just tryin to gather some info on what works for yall as far as shift points/times/pressures in our trucks. right now my shift RPM is 6100 for 1st and 2nd. shift pressure is 88. shift time I set to .2 b/c anything lower feels like 2 gears are engaged at once, I'm gonna say bye bye to my tranny probably in a few years, oh well that's what a warranty is for

I shift at 6600 not sure what my pressure is at but it does roll second over at WOT never part throttle though.

hmmm, the fixed tune I flashed earlier works badass.
makes me wanna go back out to HRP tonight and see the differences.
fastest f'in time last night was 15.6, 60' was 2.442, and trap speed was ok at 91mph. second and third ran badass kinda, but I never entered PE until late second gear. I guess that'd make a decent difference, dunno how much it'd shave off the time, but I'd like to see 14's when I get it tuned well. is that shooting to high or what?

I have mine shifting at 5500 (stock cam) with a .1 shift time. I never changed my line pressure, but it shifts firm up to 3/4 throttle. It shifts kinda weird at wot, but with 120K miles on a otherwise stock 80e I am not complaining. What is a safe limit for line pressure?

max line pressure is 96 for the 60E, I have my max pressure set at 90 under my trans setting tables, the shift pressure across the board for WOT is 88, shifts nice and firm everywhere. I made my shift time .2, really whether or not you have it at .1,.2, or .3 you'll still end up with a .48'ish shift time depending on the shift pressure, pressure has a lot to do with shift time. i'm using the stock cam and I notice a big difference shifting at 6100 vs. stock 5600
