On my stock 29" tall Firestones and N/A setup I was:
1>2:6400rpm
2>3:6700rpm ... This was to keep me in 2nd gear through the traps
3>4:6000rpm
3>4 didn't really matter to me as I never really wound out 3rd gear. LOL

Quite a bit of duration. So its possible that it made power that high.

Nah, that was with my 226cam. It pulled flat to 6700rpm NP, I would lose TQ but the truck went faster staying in 2nd gear than it would shifting into 3rd even though I had more TQ. Weird how that works due to gearing.

what cam I HAVE THE COM 216/220 525/532 114 LOPE SEP. IN A STOCK 5.3 WITH ABOUT 6000 MILES ON IT 4.56 GEARS 10" PTC CONVERTER . TODAY @ THUNDER SHOOT OUT IT WENT 12.72 @104.67 WITH 1.65 60" SHIFTING @7000 ALL GEARS CROSSING TRAPS @ 6900. I AM PUTTING HEADS ON THIS WEEK WITH NEW TRANS. IT STATED SLIPPING IN 3RD. BUT FOR AS SHIFT POINTS IT ALL ON CAM.
