Will changing my shift points help my 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times. What should I change my shift points to with my HPP3?

yes definitly, knock off about 1/2 to 3/4 of a second. best thing to do is go to a 1/4 mile track and play with it. going to take all night tho keep checking your 330' times for your 1st to 2nd gear shift, then go to your 2nd to 3rd. you should keep changing your shift points untill you notice your 330' times getting slower. this is how i did mine seem to work for me.

I have my rev limiter at 6200 and set my shift points at 6000. Next time I go to the track I'm going to try the 1-2 shift at 5800 because after that RPM it feels like its just a waste.

I had the HPP3 and I set mine to rpm limit at 6000. The stock valve train will not be happy if you go above that all the time. The shift points will go up in mph increments, this will change your rpm at shift differently depending on your rear axle ratio and tire size. Set the mph shift points to take adventage of the 6000 max rpm set. Do not worry about the 3-4 shift, unless you race to 120-140 mph
.
What ever you do do not set your 2-3 shift too high, I had some kind of weird things happen when I had my max rpm set to 6200 and the shift from 2-3 set 7 mph up. It wound out real high and took forever to shift into third. I thought I messed something up at first, but all was well. I heard of others on the site experiencing this strang shift. Good luck with your HPP3.
