she will be better stronger and faster in the end. just going to put a dent in the ol pocket book again. on royal purple in the diff--it;s not going to make metal break from a lubricant. if it was going to tear something up from fluid it would be the clutches first.

Damn Lance, sorry to hear that your truck is down. I was thinking the same thing as some of these other guys, that the engine went BOOM! I hope you can get your truck running again soon.

Damn dude. Sorry to hear that. I as well thought it was the motor. I have broke 3 rearends and broke one transmission. I know how it feels. I would stick with the 4L60 just get a hughes kit for it and a stall and you should be straight.

Look at it this way - the only way GM gets away with putting a 10-bolt rear on a truck with a 6.0 is because they are all-wheel-drive. In a situation like what happened here you have weight shifting and load changing.
Does anybody know what rear is in the 2WD 345HP Texas VHO Truck?
