Default SES Light. Why?

I added a set of shorty headers to my truck. I had two horrible exhaust leaks, but I got them fixed. Now, my SES light is on. Is it something with my O2 sensors? How do I tell? I am planning on ordering a Predator this week. It will tell me trouble codes won't it?

Yeah, you can use it to read and clear the codes unless you unhook the battery first. That would clear them also.

Take it to some place like AutoZone or Checker Auto Parts store or any other place where they will scan your PCM for free since you don't already have the software to do this. Once you get the code, you will know what is setting it for sure. If you need help, I'm sure you could post the code in here and guys will help you out.

Also, if it is a leak with headers, it is before the cat. You want to seal this up as it will hurt your gas milage. i.e. the O2 sensor readings of air/fuel will be way off.
