Default SES light after switching plug wires?

I decided to check the resistance of the stock wires and the MSD wires I've been using for about 4 months now. The stock wires all were about 475 ohms and the MSD wires were all about 45 ohms. For the heck of it, I put the stock wires back on to see if I could tell a difference in idle or performance with them vs the MSD wires. About 4 miles down the road I get an SES light although the truck was running fine. I went home and put the MSD wires back on and the SES light stayed on. I went to Auto Zone and they said they didn't check codes any more so that didn't help. I used my HPP and programmed my truck again, using the same program I was using (no HPP tuning, just higher shifts). The SES light went out, I'll have to wait to see if it comes back on with the MSD wires back on. If it doesn't, then I guess one or more of the stock wires are bad. The stock plug wires looked fine, no cracks or cuts and the all tested the same as far as ohms. If the SES light does come back on, I guess I'll have to have it checked. Will a bad plug wire set an SES light? Will it go out automatically if the wires are replaced or does it have to be manually reset?

Interesting, mayby one of them got a booger in it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> , or maybe it just didn't lock all the way down. Let us know what you find out.
