IMO, the 206/212-112 would be just what you were looking for. I've driven a 4.8 ext. cab with a 212/218-114 cam and it was kind of a dog on the stock converter until about 3800 rpms, after 4.10s it was alot better. I also rode in an ext. cab 4.8 with the stock converter and 02' LS6 cam. It was dog until about 4400 and then took off. After a TCI street fighter converter with 3.73s, it kinda bogged and then took off at 4400 rpms.

I am looking into getting a Dura Grip Posi Package GM 8.6 30spl 4.11 Gear Set & Kit. So hopefully it will not be a dog too much. I am thinking my diff is a 3.42 peg leg.

I dont think you can go wrong with either company for a camshaft, although its Comps bread and butter, Ive been buying my parts with Comp for at least 15yrs now. Lunati is known more for its rotating assemblys.

FAST's LSXRT intake has been getting really reviews on power gains too.

IF there arent an "tuners" over there, why not buy HPTuners or EFILive and learn to tune on your own?? Its much more satifying to do it yourself!

I wouldn't know where to start...are the HPtuners user friendly? Do they get rid of that nasty torque management?

There's certainly a learning curve, but they are intuitive enough that you can understand most of what you're trying to change.

I know with EFI Live you can adjust the TM, I'm sure HPTuners is the same. Most tuners will leave a small amount of TM in the engine, like 20 %, and remove all of it from the transmission.
