Default School me on high-hp fuel systems

What kind of power levels will a stock return-style fuel system support with the proper in-tank pump? What kind of pump is everyone running? What about the stock fuel rails? At what point do those need to be upgraded? Who makes an upgraded system?

Default Fuel System For Your 408

At the horsepower level your 408 will be making you would have more than enough fuel with a low pressure system off an old TBI 4.3 liter !

A 255lph intank will support probably 500+ hp, and I don't know if anyone makes a direct fit truck rail or not.

Let's put it this way -- Parish ran stock rails and lines until he put on the Vic Jr a few months ago. So did I. We both run 2 255 lph intank pumps.

As long as you upgrade to twin pumps, sure.

Cool, thanks

Next question...will stock rails from a truck manifold fit on the SSR manifold?
