Cool Scanguage

Guys, anyone ever use a simple device called "Scanguage"? Got it for $99 shipped, so the deal couldn't be beat. It hooks up to your diagnostic port, and you can monitor many different functions, with 4 readouts showing at once. Also, when your trip is over, it gives total miles, average mpg, total time, all kinds of neat stuff. My main question is, what should my IAT be when running down the road normally. No blower, and not hammering the throttle. Also, what about timing? The thing was showing huge amounts of timing at part throttle, and just off idle, then evens out. It can't log, but I'll get more numbers tomorrow. I have to watch the unit, and kind of take notes at the same time. Not recomended, but you just have to be REAL careful!

What do you have this installed on? Might be a nice tool to have on hand.

that's a pretty nice feature if you ask me. I'd think it would be farliy accurate pluggin in to the diagnostic port.

Yah. on their site it said it reads and clears codes. Where did you get it for $99.00 shipped? They are advertising it for $130 shipped.

We just started selling these and they are very handy. The $99.00 is a thing of the past. They will be $129.00 shipped. I havent put it on the turbo car yet, but we did my wifes GTP and its very cool. Intake temps stayed around 70 degrees even while getting on it. That same night when it was cooler, they were at 60ish. I went faster than the speedometer shows, but the Scan Gauge knew how fast I went. It is a great tool to have and will show and clear codes.
