still sounds 180 out. you are wiring the order clockwise right? dumb question. just wanted to rule it out.

maybe your plugs fouled out.

you nailed it on the head i was counter clockwise.. earlier i was sittin there countin the plugs and it dawned on me i had it wrong.. if i could id kick my self in the ***.. ive done this several hundred times at work and on my race cars and other peoples cars..but ive been away from mechanican for a while and just had a brain fart

i work for a ford dealer. i sure am glad i don't have a vehicle with a dist to wire backwards anymore. glad you got it taken care of.
