Michael (GMCtrk) told me they were 1 3/4" primaries. Guess I should have done more research No wonder my power falls off up top so rapidly......... **** I've been running around with choked up exhaust for the last year......

I thought the Dynas were 1 3/4"? They were & still are a nice. They fit, don't leak, they're S/S, & they work. Actually, SW came out after. And I Kooks made a direct fit for our trucks (not F-bodies adapted to fit like I heard before).

dlt76028, AEM makes headers now too?

ARH makes up nice stuff too, but I'm not sure if it's just for the NNBS, or ours too (99-07 cassic).

That's the beauty of things, as we move forward, buyers have more choices. Honestly, (in no order) I don't think u can go wrong w/. the ARH, Dynas, S/W, & if Kooks makes a direct fit, Kooks too. AS & M maybe too, but I know ya gotta weld to a cat or whatnot. I guess once u buy a product & you're happy/ it works, one pays less attn. to who else makes a given product. Like I didn't know AEM did.

Are people just now figuring this out? The OBX headers are just copies of the original version of the dynatech headers. They have the exact same driver's side hump and everything.

They're based off a 10 year old design.

AEM did for a while; they don't any more I don't think. There are a couple of lengthy threads on here about them.

Yep. Dynas have been made for 10 yrs? They musta been 1 of 1st to market LTs for our trucks. FWIW, the new Camaro is loosely based on a design 4 decades old.
