Default ?'s about tune-up

Getting ready to tune up my truck (01 z71 5.3) and was wondering if I should go with the AC Delco plugs and wires? Thoughts on other brands?

OEM parts are good most service dealers use them on all vehicles. But I've used the Bostch Platinum Plugs and Accel wires and my older truck and they were pretty good. I've talked to a service manager once and his opinion on plugs was "a plug is a plug" doesn't matter if its Split fire or even the Quad Fire that Bostch makes, all you need is one simple spark.

A lot of people on here are running NGK plugs, TR55's I believe, do a search for more info. They are a lot cheaper than the AC platinums.
