is this the right setup for what i'm looking for?
I'm reworking my plans for a 6.0 instead of a 5.3 since I just got an 05 lq4. my goal for the 5.3 was 340-350rwhp, that was with tsp220, stage 1 243 heads, ls6 intake and 1 3/4 lt headers.
taking this same setup over to a 6.0 what could i expect? I can have 1 3/4 lt or 1 7/8 tuned mids since I havent ordered the headers yet. other then that it will be the same till I can upgrade to a fast setup. I would like 400+rwhp, and since thats only 15% more power while adding 40 cubes I would think it could be done with that setup and a good tune. the truck is going to be a daily untill i get a bike, and even then it will be driven pretty often. i' looking for alot of midrange for the street while still being a beast at the track, i'd be happy with a 12.0 or lower. i'm tossing the idea around about going to a tr224 or something like it, but I dont know if it would be needed.
the truck is a scsb s10 with an 4l60e(built) and will have either 355s or 373s.

oops, wrong section.
also i started going through the dyno lists and it looks like 400 is too high for my setup, way too high. but i should still be able to pull off 375. looks like I could do 400 with the tr224 and the fast setup.

i would say that 220 cam and stage 1 heads on a 6.0, maybe 350-360 rwhp.. maybe
tough to say, my cam is bigger, heads flow better, and a 370 CID, didnt make 400 rwhp. of course, i run a nitrous safe tune all the time, so i let maybe 15 rwhp go on the n/a setup.
it wont take over 400 rwhp to put an s-10 in the 12's though. with a 3200+ stall and 3.73's, some slicks, shouldnt take but a little over 300-315 rwhp to go 12's in that.
should be high 11's or better with 400+ rwhp.

11's are what i'm looking for, 12's were what I was looking for with the 5.3 build. i've seen 5.7s make 400rwhp with 220/224 cams, but he was running a fast 90/90 and other better bolt ons, also had a 6 speed. if I can sell my cam i'll be swapping out for a tr224, should be able to get me up to around 375+
