New to the site,lots of great info,and great vehicles,just curious,when I did the cam swap in my 09 Tahoe,tvs1900,5.3,we reused the dod lifter trays for the new lifters and cam,they seem to fit well,I see everybody else replacing them with the dod delete? Is this a necessity? or just because?

 

the replacement trays hold the regular lifters correctly.

 

These have been in here for 20k plus miles?

 

Meh, I don't see a problem replacing them? They are fairly cheap. Hmm.
