Man if i were you i would run out to your truck and jack up the shift point 6K and then go beat on it and hope you dont break it. Mine has about 13K miles on it and may average 20-30 WOT runs per tank of fuel, has never skipped a beat, trans is still tip top.Oh i did install 01 LS6 springs.

OK. OK...point made !!

Since I already run 15.32 when I add the P&P heads, that cam, long tubes, and tuning I should see one hell of a gain !!!

Nice gains 99 2500 !!!!

I changed the springs with comp 918's, also did the valve seals since I have 88000 miles on the motor.

Is that a misprint, or did you really get the high-lift 212/218 on a 114LSA?

(The Comp catalog lists it as a 115LSA)

Isn't that the low-lift version, Gonz?

I was thinking that we're talking about the 54-424-11...

It's a custom grind, Shane at Thunderracing helped me pick this cam, actually he recommended a 216/220 XE high lift, but I chickened out on that size b/c I did not want to be on the borderline with tuning issues. Right now I almost wish I went with the cam he recommended.
