Default Removing springs from a leaf pack...anyone see any problems with this

I want to remove the bottom overload and second main leaves from the leaf packs to both drop the rear of the truck a little and help soften up the ride.....I know load capacity will drop but I can make that up with the airbag-helpers that I already have installed

does anyone see a real handling/safety problems with doing this on a 3/4 ton truck ??

You wont have any problems at all. I pulled three springs out of mine, so all i have now is the main spring and the one with the clamps. For towing i just put a set of air bags on it. The only problem i had was spring wrap, but i fixed that by building some upper and lower links.
