Default Remote Oil Pressure Sensor Mod

I have never had to replace my oil pressure sensor but I have read was a pain it is to do. I came across a mod that some of the Corvette guys are doing and decided to do it myself. It made sense for me since I was already swapping in a 402ci.

I used a 16x1.5mm to 1/8" npt adapter and a 1/8" npt to -4AN adapter. You could always go with the -3AN size also.

I made a 'T' fitting out of some brass hex stock I had laying around. The only expensive part of this mod was having to purchase the correct metric tap.

Instead of mounting it on the motor as the Corvette guys do, I opted to mount it to the master cylinder mounting bolt with a SS strap. It was simple and had the added bonus of less vibration and heat.

It's a neat looking idea, but I just see the potential for more leaks.

There should be another screw in port on the rear left side behind the headers that can be used if this one is being used by a computer.
