read a googleplex of post and still cant decide on cam...help!

Ok, Haveing trouble, looked at a few read all the post i can find and still cant decide but heres the application it would go for, 04 6.0 in a cc4x4, needs to pass cali smog, work with stock stall and be able to live with stock tune untill i get a custom tune. Looking for maximum power from say idle to 6000, being a truck thats gonna tow once in a while dont want to give up any low end and hopefully pic some up.
PS will get tog headers and mangna flow muffler. thanks for any thoughts as all this concentrating has giving me a headache.

Ben's right, the Comp 54-412-11 (212/218, 522/529, 114) is a safe bet for passing CA smog. This is the one I supposedly got - we'll see if it ever arrives. If you plan on having your heads done in the future to increase potential flow, you can opt for the Comp 54-424-11 (212/218, 558/563, 115), otherwise the extra lift might not be fully utilized.

What about the LPE GT2-3 or the TR old man or mti steath ect ect.
I think i read some one elses on the comp high lift and said they lost some low end. although that might have been on a 5.3 i cant remember
