Default re-doing exsaust

Ok im going to install my pacesetter headers next week so I figured the cats have to go but I have heard that you lose some tourqe when doing this. So I would like to know if anyone that has done this could feel an increase in power. And I have heard that it sounds real raspy so is that true. And last would it help to run (true) dual muffler set up or just keep what I have witch is 2 in 1 out flowmaster super 40.

Id depends on your set up...

I gutted my cats and left the "case" there... it just makes it sound better....
I dont think your goin to be able to feel a difference, Good or Bad....

If i wasnt goin with the STS i was goin to get some Pacesetter Headers and run 2 magnaflows inline to keep it really quiet but still keep all that flow...

i have a true dual exhaust with 2 flowmaster 40 series and it is really raspy and i did notice that when i try to pull my jet ski out of the water at the boat ramp i have trouble starting out so i think i lost some torque
i think the truck sounds bad *** tho and most people do too (except my girlfriend lol)
