Default rcsb 5sp z71 w/6.0?

ok first off im new to the site and would like to thank you for any help you guys can give me. i have an 03 Z71 5sp rcsb. its a wimpy little 4.8 with 100k on it. i work at a chevrolet dealership and recently scored an escalade 6.0 that was hydro-locked. it broke 3 rods and bent 2 others and completely shattered 1 piston. ive pulled it all apart and see no visible damage. im gonna be sending the block and crank out to get checked over very thouroughly. if all comes back good i plan on putting it in my truck. what do you recommend for upgrades? im only lookin for about 400hp as its my daily driver. i have another toy for the big hp. and thats another thing, its gotta be able to pull my other toy. it has 4.10s which help out a lot. the other problem is the tranny. i know a lot of you have posted questions about these 5spds. yes they are junk, and there the same used behind a 6.0. they bend the shift forks very easily, one miss shift is all it takes. i have talked to our main tranny guy and he said theres nothing you can do about it. and trust me, mine is bad. it takes a few tries to get 3rd and 5th. i dont use 1st, its just a granny gear. my tranny questions would be, has anyone found upgraded parts? where can i find a better clutch? my clutch is brand new, but theres a reason for that. i would love a 6spd conversion, but i have a transfer case that just doesnt bolt up to a 6spd. and i love my 4wd, even though ive only used it a handful of times.

thanks for any help.

Default 6 speed

I currently have a Joe Gibbs super charged truck with a 5.3 auto. I want to convert to a 6 speed. Do you happen to have a clutch pedal setup for those trucks.

since your rods and a piston is junk i would suggest doing a 408 stroker motor they have tons of torque great for towing
