Default Rcsb 5.3

Im buying a 2003 RCSB 5.3 Silverado with Volant, Borla exhaust and 3.73's. What is this thing going to run? This will give me a heads up on how much I will have to spend to make it as fast as my ole camaro. I live in Tampa so I will wait for the winter weather to come in December then I'll run it. Are the 2003 computers any good? Will LS1 edit tune it?

Yup the 03's have a good PCM! Well you should be running low 15's with the current mods. The Ls1 edit should work, but go with Nelson performance for a great tune. That's one the highest recommended tuners here! He is one of our sponsors to the right------------>

I would think you could get into the mid 14s. Last week I ran 15.01 and my truck is a long bed and its all stock. Im going back tomorow night because I think it will go in the 14s.

You 2wd owners pi$$ me off. All I'm asking for is a 14.9, and the best I can do with all my mods is 15.5

I think it should get high 14s with those mods. Come on guys, 15.2?! A 5.3L isn't that slow.

Look at my times, you should be high 14 or low 15.

I am guessing at sea level and with good temps a 14.9-15.1.

My times were at 4000ft and in the 70s-80s. The 15.7 was with a HPP3.
