Yeah, I think he sold the motor. Actually, it was probably fine. He kept a good handle on detonation and the parts in these motors can really take alot if you have a good tune.
I was just messing around hoping parish8 would stumble in here and see what I said.
BTW - His email is cobra99vert@aol.com

Yeah its on its way to the islands as we speak (write). Could have used the injectors, too. Going to give to rebuild the long block once it gets here.
6.0L blocks are hard to find over here so I may even see if someone wants it. I got a fresh LQ9 on the way also. Can't decide, high-comp big-cam NA, or low-comp FI. Kind of addicted to the boost.

he used his wideband on the motor, so it's prolly in better shape than alot of the FI motors around.
I really need to buy that wideband setup and set it up! LM, let me know if you need anything else. Your tune will be different than using the SDM 370's, but the weird thing is, My tune is way different than Jim's(GMCSKI)tune, and we have(or did have, hehe) the same stuff. He does have higher fuel press on his though.
Island Tahoe, Aloha man. Are you using some water or alky injection? Keep the boost man. That motor is used to it

Yeah, it has been stress tested for sure, but your right, it has been well maintained also.
I am running a whipple now on my 5.3L and will probably just put it on the 6.0L. Really got to get into this LS1Edit tuning since I want to run larger injectors and get rid of the whipple aux injectors & its piggy-back computer. Unfortunately, this is my daily driver so I can't really have too much downtime trying to figure things out.
Those SDM 370 RC Injectors sure do sound like the ticket, or maybe SVO 42lb injectors. Too much to think about.

Jim - I don't think that is a true wideband sensor. I believe they are 5 wire sensors. It says you can use your stock sensor which means it's basically just a display to show your stock O2 sensor readings kinda like an Autometer A/F guage.
If you can wait Techedge is coming out with V2.0 of their wideband that uses a very inexspensive wideband sensor.
V1.5 works good but, the sensor it needs is almost $200 by itself.
I think the Techedge 1.5 is still one of the cheapest units out there even with the sensor.
Here is their website.

I have AS&m long tubes going to a 1 in 2 out flowmaster. Thinking of getting a QTEC still but not sure.
Xlr8nss- I will get in touch with you tomorrow about the injectors. Will talk to RC eng in the morning.

What about this manufacturer for a wideband. I think alot of rice cars use it but if it works...
www.fjoracing.com/index2.htm
It appears to have data logging capabilities which the othes don't. About $700+ for datalogging and display.
