Default raspy exhaust vs. frappy exhaust

Last week I installed a borla xr-1 12" oval muffler. I think it sounded better than the 3" single in/single out hooker aerochamber I had on there. This week I installed Pacesetter LT headers and pacesetter 3" ORY. I LOVE the raspy sound of the borla. I hate the frappy sound at about 3000 RPM. If I put the aerochamber back on would it still be some what raspy? Would it eliminate the frappy sound at 3000 RPM and above? It almost sound like old glasspacks, lol. I just wanted some experienced input before I go changing mufflers again. It sounds awesome reving it in park. it only fraps under load.

If I change mufflers, it will be tomorrow morning.

I already have the hooker. If that can fix the problem then I would rather do it that way. I like the way the corsa sounds, but not the price. I can get more cheap hookers for the price of one fancy call girl, lol. I forgot to mention the pipe in dumped after the axle. I was thinking about getting the through body exhaust tip from stylin and running it through the side, either in front of or behind the rear tire.

I'm not real sure what you mean by "frappy", but if you are talking about drone or it being louder than you might want to look at a resonator. I used a Magnaflow resonator in front of my muffler and it made a big difference in getting rid of the droning at 2k-3k.

If you run it out the back you will loose ALOT of drone. I was thinking about adding a resonantor to mine, I just ran it out the back and got the sound I want. I was blown away.

I run true duals with 3" i/o 6" round x 30" long Magnaflow mufflers behind an x-pipe and they are loooowww bass at idle. Under load they're deep w/authority until 3000 and from there, they run WFO.
Cruising along at 1700-2300 I get zero drone and they have never popped or crackled.
May be worth considering.
