Default Ram air hood

Check it out!

Has anyone bought one of these and can attest to the ram air? I was looking at getting the Volant intake with the ram air tube, but this just looks real cool, and I think that it would look "pimp ***" on my truck. I am looking at about $450 for the Volant including ram air and shipping, but wonder how well the Ram air will work. With this, I know for sure that the air will get into the air box, if the piping was done correctly. For this hood, I got a friend that does paint, and he told me paint cost only. He said about $35 to $45 sanded and painted to match. So for about another $400, I could get looks and performance!?!

What do you guys think? It is made of fiberglass, so lighter than stock, but I am not too confident in running a hood like that. Will it hold up fine to running over a 100mph? Will I have to put pin locks on it? Will it fit as fine as the stock hood? Tyberne, what do you say, you sell it?! Never ran a fiberglass hood before!
