Default Radix vs Whipple

Alright last time im posting about what to do but ive narrowed it down to these 2. I know some people arent crazy about the whipple but from what i can read it looks to be a pretty good unit. Its a twin screw and i could get an intercooler with it. I know the radix is intercooled but what do you guys think?

It is an Excellent unit! the "KIT" is the problem, it's not as sorted and complete as the Radix and it really does need an I/C.

have you read their new add (intercooled by fuel?)

I thought about this a bit too because you can get the whipple without the craptronics and extra fuel injectors for around $3200. Then add some 42 lb injectors for $350, and a tune for $250 and you have a competitive(not superior) supercharger kit for $3900 If you did an air/air ic it would cost close to the same, maybe a bit less than a magnacharger, but seems like it might be able to support a bit more power.

I have a whipple on the way....
using the whipple compressor, multitec 42lb injectors and a pcmforless tune and stock pully. Later, when i get thw 11 lb pully, i'll be putting on a LS1 intake manifold and a D-max intercooler. I found a compressor that had only been used for about 500 miles for a really good deal, and with everything i will prolly still come out cheaper than the radix.

If you don't mind messing with it as some of the guys have already alluded to here, the Whipple makes some good power. For just a little more (shop around), you can get an intercooled Radix kit. Radix works out of the box. Whipple takes some extra work and tuning. Both are good blowers and have their strong and weak points. Do a search here on the site and spend about 2-3 hours reading and you'll have more information than you need.

You should still get the vehicle logged or somthing after installing the radix also just to see if it's correct right? Not toooo much more work than the whipple.

Not neccessary, the radix comes with the tune and warranty.
