Default Radix Question, missing coolant??

Checked my intercooler resivor for coolant level today and now it is only less than half full. About a month ago i noticed the same thing only i seen it leaking from the cap and top of bottle (poor sealing via cap). Blownchevy sent me a new cap for the res. Now im having that problem agian. Although i never see coolant on the ground in front of my truck NEVER. Does anyone have this problem too. You guys running the radix, where is the level on your tank ? Click on the link in my sig for the pic of the bottle level. remember the level was plum full to the top of the bottle about a month ago

I keep mine so that the water coming in on the tank is pushing more water. That way when it sits turned off, it won't get air back into the hose. I never have any leaks though .... Try tightening up all your hose clamps and stuff.

Bring the level to just below the return and monitor it....you dont see any coolant on the ground? give me a call 818-340-1714. I may send you a new res. to.....Just to rule that out. On occasion I will notice that mine is lower than normal. I have a feeling that the res cap is not a complete seal, possible evaporation.

I had a small spilt in my reservior and replaced it - thanks, Brian. When I filled it to the top it would leak down until it reached a level, I'm guessing, below where the spilt was. Then it wouldn't leak anymore. But, mine leaked enough to see it on the driveway after shut-down. Never enough to actually see it come out of the reservior. Isn't your coolant the wrong color?

Dex Cool tends to gel up in the intercooler and heat exchanger. Chevy knows about this and still puts it in their cars and trucks. I removed and replaced my radiator coolant res and cut the old one open to find a thick "gel" at the bottom of it.
