Who is running the radix on a Chevy? I have a cool mod that I will be posting in the next few weeks in detail. I just want to get a count on how many Chevy trucks have the radix.

Just a little insight on what I have done.
If you have not noticed....the heat exchanger is blocked about 2/3's by the grill and chevy emblem. I have figured out a way to move the heat exchanger into the lower valance and make it look MEAN. I will post pics next week, I forgot my camera at the shop. I am going out to magna next week with the truck so they can take a look at it. I think this could be an upgrade for the Chevy truck owners....We will see what they say.
I have seen a 15-18 degree change in intake temp, and that is just around town driving. Lower intake temps = more Hp.
I will keep you all posted on the progress.

Hmm .. this sounds like a good idea .. only thing is, I would worry about it on 4wd trucks cause I may drag something low and rip the bastord right out of the front along with the air dam.
I'll wait to see some pics before I say for sure though.

Mmmmmmmm... How about mounting a fan on the cooler?? Like B&M does with their combo coolers... That would be cool (ha, pun
) if there was room for it.
Damn'it, I am thinking of upgrading more and more....

Now that's not a bad idea .. I really like the idea of getting out of in front of everything as well. It would help cool everything else down some, but I hate to put it down low being a 4x4 if ya know what I mean.
Sticking it down low and putting a fan on it would definantly lower those temps a good bit.
As it is .. it's been about 90-95* out lately, and my water temp stays around 125*. If I turn the engine off for a while it will come up to about 150* then drop once I get things moving again.

Flem here, Got the Radix on the burb.
I've been considering moving the resevior to somewhere in front of the radiator, it seems that the resivior picks up quite a bit of heat in around town driving and actually gains heat when you stop the motor.
what pulleys are you guys running on the blower?
