Default radix magnacharger help

Hi this is my first post. I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3 127k miles, headers, intake, corvette servo, shift kit, and dynotune and I'm looking into the radix magnacharger to really set the truck off. I want to know do I have too many miles for this? Can I install it myself? Is it reliable? Will I lose any driveability? If this isnt the right thing for me ive also looked at the 220r tsp cam and would be happy with that as well. The truck thats being modified is my dd so i want it to be reliable, yet be quick, and fun. Any and all answers would be appreciated. Thanks!

A Radix kit is probably one of the most reliable power adders you can install. Installation is pretty straight forward. Won't affect drivability, except for the incraesed fun factor.

Will I need any internal motor work to complement the radix? Or any special fabrication? Also will this kit replace my stock intake manifold, or go alongside it? Thanks!

It replaces the intake, and stock internals will be fine at modest boost levels.

You'll be fine with it. Pull the trigger and go have some fun. I have that setup in my 02 Silverado. Its been loads of fun.

The fuel block is going to interfere with one of your coils. You'll have to reposition it to make it work. I didn't like how it looked so I ended up relocating my coil packs, modifying a set of valve covers then installing. Finally happy with that part of the install.

I have 2 chrome alternators plus a few more things that are waiting install. Let us know what you decide to do and post some pics....

That sounds good man I made 307 at the wheels with full bolt ons and tune, so the magnacharger should make for a pretty fun truck
