i think it is the best blower out there right up till it runs out breath. it sure does look nice. i think that new turbo set up may cut into your sales a little though

riped427 has a radix on a 427, if anyone can get over 500rwhp it would be him, sooo riped, you happen to have a dyno chart?

I hope the Turbo kit works out for us, I honestly do. I don’t think it will get past the CARB testing here in California though. I am very interested in it when it does become available to us. I don’t think it will be much competition for the Radix kit IMO. Two different beasts for two different customers.

Has anyone installed a Radix on a LS1 with f-body accessories? I know the pulley allignment is different from the trucks. I wonder what other potential problems will be encountered with this swap? I have been thinking seriously about this for my truck. Oh and 450HP would be ok with me!

what is the most horsepower someone has got out of the whipple supercharger for comparison? And, How do you know how fast you are spinning the supercharger at all rpm's?

to get the blower rpm you take the bottom pully diameter divided by the top pully diameter x the motor rpm.

in my case when i had the whipple the smallest top pully i tried was a 2.5 and the bottom was a 6.25 so

6.25/2.5 x 5800rpm = 14,500rpm << well over the max on that chart, you can see the temps start going up and the drive HP go's up prety rapidly once you get near the end of the chart. with these pullys i was seeing 11-12psi on a 6.0, that was a little too much for the 100octane i was running.

I had a L and belong to all the Lightning sites, and I can tell you for a fact to get 500 @ the wheels of a L you need a Kenne Bell, the Eaton will not do it. Eaton runs out of steam well before that. @ 14lbs, it reaches its limit. The true part that shines on the setup in the intercooler. It reduces the temp over 100 degrees, and when used with a KB I have seen over 600 @ the wheels.

I don't know if this will help, or if it has anything to do with one or the other, but here is what KenneBell has to say about Twin Screw blowers vs. Eaton Roots type blowers. From what I can gather, the twin screw is the way to go. With that being said, I still want an Intercooled Radix as my first choice. I have never heard anybody who is anybody say one bad word about the Magnacharger Radix. If Lingenfelter says its all good, its all good! Here is a link:

I will soon, the guy who helps work on my truck has winter break coming up. (College) My PY3400E has some issues and is coming out. After we get the new one in I've decided to do a few pulls on the dyno @ DRM.

I sure hope it can beat 500RWHP That would only be about a 50rwhp gain from what the motor put down when it was in my C5 N/A

I'm going to a smaller converter. It's just to too loose for a 5,000lb plus truck for my tastes.
