I would like to hear about this too. I am shopping for headers right now! So far, TOG is the only one on my list.

If you want stealth I would go with the Radix and a set of headers. Keep the rest of the exhaust stock. This will allow you to "walk lightly but carry a big stick"
The Corsa is a good choice if want a little sound during normal driving (this is a pretty quiet system). It becomes aggressive when you lay into it. Magnaflow will put you a few more steps up the sound scale. These will all get louder with headers in front of them.

I have no regrets on going with my Corsa Touring.
It is not really that much quieter than the Sport. It has a hyper throaty sound under the throttle. Most of the red necks around here go with cheaper setups that sound like an old Chris Craft boat, Blub Blub Blub and always present in the cab. My friends made cracks as such at me when they heard I was going to modify my brand new 2005 Z71 exhaust. After they heard it I was asked for the info on the Corsa. The price is a shocker to them but they do not understand what I paid for. A high flowing exhaust that sounds great and is built really well and is not a pain it the cab.
The touring is built the same as the Sport but for a packing and I believe some small perforation in the main tube. The packing is the same material used in the Cadillac XTS cars and will not show signs of wear or deterioration for at least 300k miles.
The pic below is of a Sport.

I do not agree with removing cats. If you are track only and in heavy competition yes. But for the street just to be annoyingly loud, not. The gain in flow would not be worth the havoc. There are loads of high performance vehicles with cats making great horsepower.
My 05 Z71 came with bigger cats than earlier models. I do not know if they are equipped L33 H.O. 5.3 specific or not. Maybe you can junk yard yourself some. They are twice the volume as the bullet shaped ones I have seen on the Silverado Super Sports running the 345 HP 6.0. See pic below.

yes..i have the same cats you have...i was not going to remove the cats...isnt the stock muffler quite restricted...how would you get better flow from just adding headers and not changing the muffler...if so..is there a bolt on header that would do the trick or would you have to go chopping everything up...

Todays mufflers are not as restricted as days of yore, or as much as some aftermarket company's would have you believe.
As for me, my first priority in my exhaust is little to none in cab discomfort. ='s Corsa.
I did a Gibson Catback on a 97 ECSB Z71 and it was too loud in the Cab.
I put an SS Silverado muffler on my 03 Z71 and it was nice. Corsa engineers have flow tested the SS muff and it flows in the neighborhood of 160 cfm more than the 5.3's stock cannister. The Corsa flows much more.
The SS, Gibson and Corsa are only the ones I can talk about.
Getter done!
