Default Radix or 6.0L

I've got an '05 rcsb 2wd 4.8L 5spd with 3.73 gears and G80. I am having an awful hard time deciding whether to radix the 4.8L or swap in a 6.0. Either one would be awesome with the 5 speed. I've already got the 6.0 lq4 from a surplus sale gm was having, I'm kinda leanin toward the 6.0.

if you already have the 6.0, why not do a radix'd LQ4?

Throw in a 6spd conversion if you go with a Radix 6.0,because the 5spd and stock clutch will soon be history.

a blown 6.0 would be nice, it would even be nice with 6spd conversion, it would even be nicer if I had the money to do all this. see, I don't actually have the 6.0L in my possession just yet, I work in parts at a dealer and just havent bought it yet, so when I buy the 6.0 I won't have the money to do the radix, if I buy the radix, I wont have the money to do the 6.0L. So that kinda leaves the 6spd conversion out of the picture for now.

Go with the 6.0 with an upgraded clutch.

Do the 6.0 and the best you can with the 5 gear and you can save for the rest if you want to. I'll bet you probably will want to.

4.8 + Radix will be a heck of alot more fun than a stock 6.0 and put out much more power with boost to spare.

If it were me though, I'd probably do the 6.0 now and save for a Radix later.

HOWEVER, if this is a one time expense, I would go 4.8 + Radix.
