Quieter = Better in my case....

Thats why with my lastest setup i didnt worry about exhaust.. i wanted it quiet so i left the stock catback on it. Put a cutout before that in a 4" Dia section of pipe after the downpipe. Very very quiet and smooth crusing and towing.
open the cutout some for some noise if you want or all the way open for whatever reason ha..

Here's a video that finally uploaded....
Keep in mind it was recorded with a phone, in a large shop, from 4 or 5 feet away. I think it sounds a lot better in person, although not bad considering how it was taped...

My vehicles always seem to like what other's vehicles don't like.
Lots of people swear by cutouts, yet my last car ran exactly the same closed up.
Lots of people swear by free flowing exhaust, or true duals, yet mine have always ran better with a more simple approach.
Lots of people insist you need to run 92+ octane to get the best performance, which also was not true with my truck. Heck, my big block Chevelle runs better on 87 than on 93, so who knows...lol.
My point....
Only you can find out what YOUR exact setup likes or doesn't like. You just need to figure that part out. In time, if you're both patient and lucky, you'll get it right. I have also learned that nobody, and I mean NOBODY, knows it all, so take everything you hear, see, and read with a grain of salt. Nothing is guaranteed.

Exactly!
my truck gets the same gas mileage on 87 as it does on 93 if im cruising.. but if i hit the hills goin north it pings, bad..
but it gets better gas mileage on 93 when im towing..

we call it low vacuum.....
i tried a few different gas octanes.. and ended up just sticking to 93 and a single tune plus alot of methanol for towing
31gph worth of nozzles will drink a 3 gallon tank dry faster than one thinks pulling small hills.
