I also got tired of my raspy sounding exhaust. I switched from a spintech pro street to a borla pro-xs. The borlas quite at idle and throaty/mean at wot.

I have the corsa touring, LT's and a s/c, and it definitely is very raspy at WOT. I ended up adding a bullet before the muffler and most of the rasp is gone.

Gibson has pretty quiet mufflers. I have LTs, ory, and a gibson swept side catback, and it is pretty quiet. No drone or rasp. In fact, under normal cruizing you can only barely tell a difference from stock. The old gibson super truck exhaust I had was loud, but it had a 1in/2out muffler, and the tips exited right before the rear tire.

I don't usu. hear that about the Touring, could be those ARH's & / or S/C are contributing factor(s). I've heard a blower can make an exhaust louder, but IDK why. Do u still have your cats?

My Gibson system was way too quiet until I dumped it before the axle, then I got considerably louder (it was dual out back). I recently gutted the cats and it got extremely louder, almost too loud. I have an even smaller Magnaflow muffler that will be going on with a cutout, but I will be running a tailpipe over the axle and dumping it at an angle which will hopefully help to keep the noise level down.

i think ill give this 24 a try

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=8502

maybe the 22
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=12589

I just know im looking for 20+ inches and honestly i dont care if its a little loud on the outside i just want no drone and not a **** load of noise on the inside, and deff no rasp..just something to make driving either DD or long distance road trips a little easier to deal with, ill also be getting rid of the dump and going back towards the bumper, kind of like bluecajuns truck.

I doubt i would be unhappy with anything right about now seeing how my current setup is extremely loud, raspy, and drones alot.
