Think im gonna do as cc05 said and run a big magnaflow with a resonator in front of it. this would leave me with enough cash to get a cowl hood and exhaust

I have a 3" jones full boar chambered. Not loud, can't even hear it on the interstate. Even tho I have a 4.3 it sounds good. About like the 3.7 v6 mustang. Would sound great on an 8

Run the biggest Magnaflow muffler you can fit. It's hard to be quiet with LTs and a ORY

My stock catback seems really quiet even with headers and ORY.

Also the longer the tail pipe the quieter it would be. Go with the biggest muffler you can fit, mount it as close to the engine as you can. You could also run a bigger diameter pipe then needed and run an extra muffler. Would still flow but keeps it quiet. Old hot rodders trick my grandpa taught me, when they didnt want to attract attention from the cops when they raced

I would not consider the Coraa DB black series muffler quiet with a higher stall converter, it sounds great at 70 when locked up but it is a little annoying when you sound like a dragster when trying to keep up with traffic. Go with a big magnaflow especially with the LTs.

I agree the corsa DB Black series can be loud, I was talking about the NEWER Corsa DB round muffler which are not as loud and they come in a catback kit. The older style Corsa DB black series was just a muffler only, it did not come as a catback kit.

Regarding the DB Black muffler, When I stomp on the gas, I have had several people say my truck sounds like a stock car when I was half a mile away. I just laughed and said its not that loud. I guess it's pretty loud to most people though, but in the cab if windows are rolled up its not loud at all in the truck.

So to the people that are saying to get the big magnaflow; how would that compare to say the stock noise level?

Big Magnaflow w/ 7" round bullet in front = barely louder than stock. If you screw up and get the wrong bullet or a Magnaflow muffler with a smaller case, then it'll be louder.
